General Information
The Institute of Women organises day courses, meetings and conferences on a wide range of subject matters, in order to raise awareness and offer training regarding the scope and repercussions of effective equality between women and men in our society.
The content of these activities depends on the subject in question, and can include any of the following areas:
- Definition of basic equality concepts.
- Social reality. Women and men - Facts and figures.
- International and state organisations working toward ensuring equal opportunities between women and men. EC and member state law.
- Tools used in the incorporation of the gender perspective in day to day life.
